Darren is a disabled American, who began advocating for himself and others in 1983, for Social Security claims and other disability rights, such as fair and equal treatment in society, since they were denied him.

Darren has developed relationships with governmental offices, including the White House and officials, who closely collaborate with him. Among those that took a stand, were President Ronald Wilson Reagan (the inspiration of ADA VETs), President George Herbert Walker Bush, President George Bush, Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator John Thune, Senator John McCain, Senator Hillary Clinton, Governor George Pataki, Mayor Rudolph Guiliani, the Capitol Police, Washington DC Police, the United States Secret Service, NYPD, FDNY, and former Justice of the United States, Sandra Day O’Connor, and most recently, Governor David Patterson. Darren made ground breaking changes during President Ronald Reagan’s funeral. Through his relentless efforts, all disabled, which included disabled veterans, did not have to wait on line to view the President during the services. The disabled were allowed in first, they were able to pay their respects honorably. Darren also made changes during the President George Bush’s inauguration. Again, the disabled were seated first, access routes for the disabled were determined, full integration was realized.
Darren Dione Aquino, after receiving many requests from disabled veterans, disabled americans, has decided to run for Mayor of NYC in 2017. New York is fed up with the leadership of Mayor DeBlasio. Crime is at an all time high, there is rallying in the streets, unrest…..

Darren Aquino has a plan for NY , a plan that will economically stimulate NY, that will deal with housing for seniors, but first and foremost, will restore the trust between citizens and law enforcement. The city has not seen such bad leadership since Mayor Dinkins.

President Obama let’s not get this twisted this is not a hate crime what happened in Orlando Florida last night was a terrorist attack. Already this is the second most deadly terrorist attack on us soil since 911. Last week in the Bronx the US had arrested it’s 101st Isis member on us soil, this is a war ladies and gentlemen against Americans and what we stand for as a nation. America needs to wake up before it’s too late.

The Brooklyn Tea Party sends our heartfelt condolences to the family members of the victims of this attack and pray for the wounded that they heal from their injuries. May God bless them and may God bless America.

Glenn P. Nocera President
Brooklyn Tea Party.
Candidate for the New York State Assembly 44th AD

The Brooklyn Tea Party Needs YOU.

Dear friends and membership,

Today I am proud to say that the Brooklyn Tea Party is alive and well. We have our ratified constitution in hand. We are holding regular meetings. Our meetings are organized and run by the club officers with care. We even have ourselves on the front lines of the NYC $.05 bag tax. The BTP is on the move and we are becoming a force to be reckoned with.

With all that said I would like to take you all into the not-so-distant past. Our former club presidents dreamed of the day when the BTP would be running our own candidates for office. Friends, let me tell you: THAT MOMENT IS NOW!

Two of our very own are seeking office to Make NY City and State Great Again. They have the drive, the passion, and the desire to accomplish these feats. Did I also mention the knowledge? They have that too.

First up is our own President Glenn P. Nocera. Glenn is running for the seat currently vacant in the 44th Assembly District in Brooklyn. Our second member seeking office is our Treasurer Daniel Ramos. He is looking to run in the 52nd Assembly District also in Brooklyn. Both men need your help with acquiring enough signatures to get onto the ballot for their respective districts as Republicans.

Folks, the ball is in our collective court! Its time to take our passion, our hard work, our anger at a broken system and grab for our destiny! We may not win everything this year but I’ll tell you what: NYC will be placed on notice that the Brooklyn Tea Party is here and we will be a force for change! Come join us on Sunday at our meeting to discuss this further. That email was sent today.

Those interested in volunteering please send an email to BrooklynTeaParty2009@gmail.com with your name, email, and a number we can reach you at.
