Join the Brooklyn Tea Party at our next Meeting on Sunday May 21,2017 from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM as we welcome Conservative Comedian and author, Eric Golub. The Meeting will be at a new location, 616 East 4th street in the Back Yard.
We will learn how to combat Ideological Bigotry through the use of humor and beat the Left at their own game. Eric Golub is the author of “Ideological Bigotry” and the blogger behind “Tygrrrr Express”. Eric has written for Andrew Breitbart’s Big Hollywood, been linked to by Hugh Hewitt and Mark Steyn, and been published in the Washington Times and Commentary Magazine. He has been radio guest of Dennis Miller, Hugh Hewitt, Armstrong Williams, and many other radio personalities. In 2007 he won the Bloggers Choice Award for Most Passionate Fan Base. Eric has spoken around the country to various GOP groups, including the Republican Women’s Federated, Republican Jewish Coalition, Young Republicans and College Republicans. He has done events with everyone from Michele Bachmann to Michael Steele.
Eric will be selling and autographing his books at the end of the meeting.
This Meeting will be held in the Back Yard of 616 East 4th Street Brooklyn NY 11218, Directions- By Train. F Train to the Ditmas Ave Stop, and walk towards Ocean Parkway and make a left onto East 4th Street.

Brian Doherty’s Bio – Brian Doherty is a native of Brooklyn, NY and has lived in Brooklyn his entire life. Brian was born in Crown Heights, and raised in Midwood and currently lives in Bay Ridge, his parents were both Irish immigrants, who came to this country for the American dream.
Brian attended Saint Brendan’s Elementary School and Edward R Murrow High School. Brian received a Bachelors Degree in History from SUNY Empire State College and has completed the Master of Arts program at CUNY College of Staten Island where he is currently writing his masters thesis.
Brian is a retired Sergeant from the New York City Police Department and currently works as a substitute middle school teacher for the DOE.
He became actively involve in the Brooklyn GOP in 2010 after retiring from the NYPD and has served as Vice-Chair for Law Enforcement matters, candidate for State Assembly and District Leader of the 48th AD, County Committee member and is currently the 1st Vice Chairman of the Kings County Republican Party.
Brian has been married to his wife Karen, who is also a city school teacher, for 20 years and they both have 3 beautiful daughters.

Join the Brooklyn Tea Party at our next meeting on Sunday January 8th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. With Guest Speaker Former New York State Senator David Storobin.The meeting will take place in the basement of the Kings Highway Library 2115 Ocean Ave.
David Storobin is a former New York State Senator who is now the managing attorney at The Storobin Law Firm.
He has been listed on the Thomson Reuters “Super Lawyers” list for the last 3 years.
As Senator, David Storobin promoted education reform and legislation to help small businesses. He sponsored the repeal of the Blaine Amendment to help facilitate the introduction of school vouchers for religious schools. He also sponsored bills to reduce bureaucracy and taxes on small businesses. David Storobin has been interviewed and profiled by much of the local and major media including the New York Times, New York Post, the Daily News, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg.
The Meeting will be held at the Kings Highway Library 2115 Ocean Ave in the Basement, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM Sunday Jan 8th. Membership Dues of $10.00 will be collected for 2017 for Membership in the Brooklyn Tea Party. This Meeting is free to attend.
We will also be focusing on our new agenda for the 2017 calendar year, and will be taking suggestions from all members on what our direction as an organization should be for the new year.

Join the Brooklyn Tea Party for our next meeting on Sunday Nov 13, 2016 from 1:30-3:30 PM. We will be discussing the results of the Presidential race and House and Senate races and what it means for the future of our Country.
During this coming meeting we shall also hold elections as per our constitution. Nominations were held at the October meeting and over two dozen members accepted the club nominations for office
