Join the Brooklyn Tea Party For Our Next Meeting On Sunday 8/11/19  with Guest Speaker Alexandra Levine. The meeting runs from 1:30-3:30 PM. at the Kings Highway Library 2115 Ocean Ave in the Basement Community room.

Before we get to our speaker’s biography I would like to thank our club members for their continued support. For the last several years my predecessor Lawrence Winberry had worked tirelessly behind the scenes helping to keep the BTP great. I have a big role to fill but I am grateful for Lawrence’s contributions to our club.
Alexandra Levine is a professional opera singer. She started singing at the age of 9 at synagogues and churches all over Sarasota, FL until she went to college in Cambridge, MA at Longy School Of Music. After transferring to the University of Florida, Alexandra obtained her bachelors of classical music, Magna Cum Laude and continued her singing career all over the nation, Europe, and Israel. She obtained her Master’s degree at NYU Steinhardt School Of Business, Education, and Development and became involved in politics. She still sings professional opera to this day!

During the 2016 election, Alexandra started the Jews 4 Trump movement in Sarasota, FL; which is now nationwide and she became the state leader for Florida, Maryland, and DC for the America 1st Coalition which is a nationwide pro-Trump, pro-constitution, pro 2nd amendment, pro- life, Judeo-Christian value coalition. After working on Governor Desantis, Senator Rick Scott, and all the Florida Congressmen’s campaigns, Alexandra moved to the DC area where she is currently working with her Florida and Maryland Congressmen and Florida Senators and is now the treasurer of #JEXIT, INC. As a young Jewish millennial, Alexandra is hoping to wake up the young millennials and see that the Democratic Party isn’t the party for them! The mission of #JEXIT is to have Jewish Americans exit the Democratic Party and vote Republican. This will also help the Potus win more of the Jewish vote in 2020. #JEXIT also does education events nationwide to combat antisemitism, the persecution of Christians and other minorities. We are all inclusive and we believe that we are “stronger together!”

Biographical Information for Lawrence Winberry

Lawrence Winberry. was born in New York City and raised in its suburbs on Long Island. he attended public schools in Mineola, N.Y. before entering Chaminade High School, a Catholic secondary school in that same village. Later he studied computer science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Upon graduation he worked as a software engineer for about 12 years for General Dynamics Corp. and a spin-off of that defense contracting firm. Later Lawrence worked for many years as a tutor to students of all ages, both privately and for a tutoring chain that has a branch near his hometown. His career has taken him from San Diego, Calif. to Washington, D.C. and back to Long Island.
Over the years he has developed knowledge of American history and a corresponding interest in politics. Having learned that one of the founding principles of the United States is limited government, he was an enthusiastic member of the Tea Party movement from its inception in February of 2009. That month he attended the very first Tea Party event in New York City, a gathering of about 100 people in City Hall Park, were he first meet Brooklyn Tea Party President Glenn Nocera. Since then he has been thrilled to watch the movement grow, and has  done his part as Website Editor of Tea Party 365, Executive Director of Gotham Tea Party, and Chairman of Brooklyn Tea Party. Although his ever-evolving career now takes him to Worcester, Mass., He will always be, in one form or another, an avid member of the Tea Party. Long live the Tea Party!

My Mother was a stay at home Mom till I was 12 and than worked a Full time job at a local Car Insurance company. I was born in 1983 on a Military base in Hinesville Ga, and than lived in Germany for 5 years where my Father was stationed. We stayed in 2 military bases one in Baumholder and the other in Mannheim where I got to witness the Berlin Wall fall as a child at age 5.We than moved back to the States in 1991 and lived in Baltimore Maryland where I spent most of my youth and moved to NYC about 6 years ago. Being from such a blue state in a Democrat household. I voted Democrat all the way till the last election where I decided to switch over to Conservatism in support of Dr. Ben Carson and than Presidential candidate Donald Trump. I haven’t looked back ever since! After participating in the WalkAway campaign and sharing my first political based video online. I decided to start a YouTube channel ”Conservative In NY” which has garnered over 10K subscribers.Shortly after the the Democrat Party’s dominance in the last 2018 midterms. I decided to found a Conservative group where Independent minded Conservatives could get together, and socialize and prepare for future elections. That’s not based on the out dated Republican Rhino based political philosophy. The group I decided to create is called the Conservative Republican Alliance (CRA) and it covers the NY/NJ area in hopes of branching out to other areas across the country in dire need of Conservative values.
